Since 1995, TamGroup has provided customers collaborative business integration software, built portal and content management solutions and implemented secure, highly available server and storage infrastructures for medium to large enterprises. TamGroup has been working with the Agriculture/Chemical Crop Protection industry group, RAPID, Inc. to develop XML messaging and eBusiness technologies, toward their end goals of Product Stewardship, and reduced inventory in the channel at the end of the growing season. During this time we have developed the NEXUSe2e Business Messaging engine, worked with RAPID to successfully implement XML standards, provided technical and management assistance in several pilot programs, and helped to automate business processes and reduce or eliminate VAN charges through collaborative e-business over the Internet.
Based on their successes, innovators within the Agriculture/Chemical industry have embraced and extended the use of eBusiness technologies. As an example, because of the success that they have achieved in connecting to Vendors to trade Purchase Order and Invoice information, Western Farm Service is now reaching out to customers using the same technology to automate customer invoicing. Southern States Cooperative realized efficiencies through internal application integration utilizing NEXUSe2e, they have also successfully extended the technology to automate purchasing with their largest vendors and plan to aggressively continue adoption of related technologies to enable automated transactions and improved relations with all of their vendors.
